The above picture is an M29C weasel being used by the 96th Infantry Division during the battle of Okinawa.  Mike Howard's (President and CEO of Liberty Auto Restoration) father served with the 381st of the 96th Infantry Division.
   
   
Below is a picture of my father and I wish to dedicate this web site to him and members of the 96th Infantry Division, the Deadeyes.

In memory of my late father Grover Wayne Howard, please take time to visit the following web site www.96th-infantry-division.com. His unit was known as the Deadeye Division of World War II. The Deadeye name was given to them for their excellent marksmanship exhibited in battle compared to any other unit that served in the pacific theater during WWII. My father received 2 bronze stars for his service during WWII.
